About Joshua
I live in Cherryfield Maine with my wife, Christen. Never am I far away from a pen and paper. One of my all-time favorite joys is to bring life to a blank piece of paper or the white screen of a Word document. I am a recluse by nature, though that does not mean I can't interact with people when I need to. I even dare to say there are many times I do enjoy it. I think that is why writing has appealed to me so much. I don't need anyone else, except my thoughts and a dark cavern to lock myself up in. Even in that solitude no writer is every really alone, are we??
One might not be able to tell by what I've written thus far, but I'm a HUGE western fan (a detriment I'm hoping to correct soon). Oh that's not to say I don't love the gothic and supernatural. I found one of my first great loves off a shelf of books, which introduced me to the dreary and macabre world E. A. Poe. What fascinated me most was his ability to give madness an almost physical form, one that we could touch and see. That is just the first of my influences, for there are many, far too many for me to attempt to put down here.
