Yesterday during my extended gas station shift, I finished writing "Phantom Shield". Handwritten its a twenty page short story. I like the device concept and I especially love the interesting ending.

I've been straightening up around my writing area and spring cleaning the marker and clip boards. In the course of re-organizing the "Active Projects" section of the marker board I realized I have fourteen projects in various stages of development. Talk about A.D.D. on overload, looks I won't need to worry about running out of project ideas for a while.
The event went smoothly and there were a handful of people at the luncheon. I didn't sell any copies, but I at least introduced my self to further readers. If they borrow my book from the library maybe they will want to continue reading the series. That theory has worked for me so far. Army of Clay has gathered more interest then Coven of the Black Hearts did.
After four tries the author luncheon is now here. I'll try to have some pictures taken of the event.
I'm roughly over half way done with the short story "Phantom Shield". I don't want to give to much away, but a car company has developed a new safety feature. The safety device has found a useful ability for ectoplasm. In the tradition of many of my short stories the end I'm sure will surprise you.
