Do to unexpected delays "at the Dusk of Madness" will not be ready for the deadline I expressed earlier. I'm hoping to finish editing and formatting the book sometime around October. There is also going to be a change in the stories list. "Solutions Only Makes Matters Worse" needs more work then I can currently give it - to have it ready for this collection. It's on this reason I'm choosing to save it for a later book.

As of late I've been procrastinating with a new story - a ghost story to be precise. Its set in 1862 in England (yes - England) at a moor-covered country estate.
A quick discription is this : A newly widowed woman and her two children inherit a great amount of money and a home from an estranged uncle. They move into his great house and soon find the house is occupied by the un-living. The strange events that follow begin with phanotm steps, cries from a small boy for his mother, and finally the desperate pleads from a childless mother for the return of her son. It all leads to the widowed mother to protect her children from an unseen danger and discover the terrible truth locked within the house. Sounds great doesn't it? I do feel the tone of the world of Cody / McIntire has carried into this dark new tale. Speaking of Cody and McIntire a character from the series does have a cameo to supporting role (That I haven't worked out yet). Who could it be? You're probably asking yourself, well I'm not going to tell you. You'll have to wait till it comes out. You can call me a nerd if you'd like, but I love co-mingling the different stories to created a large single universe - at least when its possible. My children leave tomorrow at five in the morning for the bus with their grandmother in route to Manhattan to spend ten days with my sister. I'm sure they will be spoiled beyond belief. I will miss them while their gone, naturally. But I'm hoping this will allow me to have enough time to catch up on some of my work I've been slacking on lately.
