My proofreader has finished her stack of short stories I sent her. Only two more to go and the collection will be ready for print. I've spent a little time in the last week to begin building the book. So far it looks great

Here is a new poem I wrote this week. I'm thinking about adding it to "at the Dusk of Madness
Edgar From childhood’s dream, I was a boy of scholarly means. Oh, that’s not to say, I did not play. Cause I had on many a day. On a particular day I do recall, in the mid fall. It was an autumn day filled with cloud and gloom. My sister and I were locked within our wooden tomb. Our souls slipping into a numbing doom. On becoming a distraction, We were granted lengthy instruction. And on obeying orders from our higher power, we played board games for over an hour. Until their love we felt had ran sour. Making our way to the door, we descended down another floor. In search of tales and unforgettable lore. At length we both did find, something to entertain our collective mind. On my perusing through our family’s modest collection, I stumbled upon a volume crawling with a macabre infection. At measure I was content with my scribbled rants. To read lore of mad men, ghosts and raven chants. It was too much for a boy to see the world at such a slant. With my nose deep in lyrical rhyme, I scarcely registered the tones from the clock’s chimes. As supper was served I looked the scene over like a grim crime. In bed I lied listening to the wind blow, and for a time I thought I heard it say “Poe”. I have just made the suggested corrections from my new proofreader, who has a knowledge of grammar rules. She corrected two out of nine stories I need help with before
